Man’s Bail Set At A Million Dollars Bail After Domestic Violence Incident

A Tancho Tehama man is accused of attacking his girlfriend and her grown daughter. Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched at 8:30PM Wednesday night a home in Elder Creek Circle in Rancho Tehama Reserve. When they arrived, a 26-year-old woman said that 59-year-old Nicholas Marcellino had strangled her until she lost consciousness, and that he had struck her mother in the eye. Marcellino was contacted outside the house. He told deputies that he had been in a physical fight with both women, during which he was scratched on the face. He said that during the fight he threw a pack of cigarettes at the 46-year-old mother, striking her in the eye. Both women were checked by paramedics and the younger woman was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital. Marcellino was booked into jail for domestic violence and battery. At the request of deputies, his bail was set at One Million Dollars.
