Man Found Guilty Of Fatal Stabbing

27-year-old Redding man has been found guilty of murder by a Shasta County Jury. In November of 2016 Corey Willyard stabbed 27-year-old Cody Graham to death in North Redding. Officers sent to Yogi Court off of White River Drive in the neighborhood south of Caterpillar Road arrived to find Graham dead. Witnesses said Willyard had fled on foot. He was at large for several days until his capture in Bella Vista. He entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. Two psychologists were appointed by the court to evaluate Willyard. The determination of sanity will be made by the court on April 10th. If he’s found to be sane, he’ll get life in prison without the possibility of parole.
