Police Arrest Man After Burglary At Salvation Army

It seems like an experienced criminal would at least know how to pick a good burglary target, and yet there he was, according to police, Shannon Sewell, a 36-year-old parolee running around inside the Salvation Army Warehouse on Westside Road in South Redding as an earsplitting alarm announced his presence to the neighborhood. When Redding Police arrived at 9AM Sunday morning, they saw bag of stolen clothing slide out beneath a partially opened roll-up door to the rear. As they surrounded the building, officers could see a man running to an exit door on the north side. He emerged to find himself in a crowd of police officers, and he was arrested without incident.
