Police Remove Over 3000 Pounds Of Trash At Henderson Open Space

Redding Police did some work at a popular area for homeless camps on Saturday. The clean up crew and neighborhood police unit fanned out across Henderson Open Space along the Sacramento River south of the Cypress Bridge. Multiple citations were issued for illegal camping and more that 3,000 pounds of material was hauled out. The NPU also checked on a home on Henderson where they’ve made multiple visits. 62-year-old Ronald Brooks and 41-year-old Shanon Bellerue were arrested on warrants. Redding Code Dnforcement was called and they found multiple violation, so the landlord was given a citation.
