DA’s Office Hopes Legos Will Help Children Through Court Process

Going into a courtroom can be a frightening and intimidating experience for a child, but the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office has come up with a way to make the experience a little less scary. The Children’s Legacy Center has purchased some sets of Lego building blocks and assembled them into replicas of the county courtrooms. That way child victims and witnesses can be shown with the toys just what they can expect when they go into the actual courtroom, hopefully making the ordeal less traumatizing.
