Another chronic offender is off the streets. The Anderson Police Department identified Christopher Michael Dalton as a chronic offender, due his numerous violations, violence against others, and repeated calls for service he generated. He was involved in 24 calls for service in 2018 and 2019, including cases of burglary, drug possession, assault and others. Dalton admitted violations of probation in two felony cases where he had been convicted of assaulting his victim with force likely to inflict great bodily injury and attempted burglary of a local business. Dalton also admitted a prior state prison commitment. Dalton has been sentenced to five years, four months in state prison.
