It’s hard not to look suspicious loitering in a parking lot at 3AM. Redding Police Officer Eddie McGinnis was patrolling the Rodeo Grounds at 2:50AM Sunday morning when he came upon four people milling around two cars, so he stopped to talk to them. Officer McGinnis said they were acting very nervously and he could see drug paraphernalia in plain sight inside the cars. A search was done, reportedly turning up several stolen items, including a loaded revolver that was taken in a Tehama County burglary. Two of the people took the blame for the gun, 21-year-old Anthony Cloyd and a 17-year-old, and both were arrested.
