River Complex Forces New Evacuations In The Coffee Creek Area

The River Complex in Klamath National Forest is 135,700 acres and 19% contained. An evacuation order remains in effect for Cecilville, Summerville, Petersburg and more of the Coffee Creek area was evacuated Tuesday.

The Antelope Fire is another Klamath lightning fire. It’s burning in the Antelope Creek Drainage east of Mount Shasta, now around 73,600 acres, which has not grown in several days. Containment is 83%. A fast moving spot fire Monday prompted an evacuation order for Medicine Lake.

The McCash Fire in the Marble Mountain Wilderness in the area of Ten Bear Mountain and McCash Creek has now burned more than 59,000 acres with 15% containment.
