Tuesday Update: Six Rivers Complex Grows To Over 21,600 Acres

The Six Rivers Lightning Complex in Trinity and Humboldt Counties has grown a little more, now 21,600 acres with 19% containment. The Six Rivers Complex is made up of six active fires burning on extremely steep, rugged and difficult to access terrain, spread both north and south of Highway 299 in the Willow Creek and Salyer area, and spreading into Hoopa tribal areas. One structure has been confirmed destroyed, and there have been two injuries. Current evacuation orders can be found at community.zonehaven.com. An emergency forest closure is in effect for all roads, trails and land on the Lower Trinity Ranger District.
