A series of busts were done last week on several illegal cannabis gardens in Shasta County. The Sheriff’s Office conducted the raids along with agents of SINTF, State Fish and Wildlife, State Water Board, and CAMP. 18 warrants were served in areas including Two Feathers Road in the southwest part of the county and the Mill Creek Subdivision near Oak Run. A total of 26,413 growing plants were destroyed and 3,024 pounds of processed bud was seized. 3 guns were also found and one person was arrested. 10 felony complaints were filed with the District Attorney’s Office, with many of the charges involving environmental damage from hazardous chemicals and illegal stream diversions.
