Evacuation orders have been reduced to warnings in many areas around Willow Creek and Salyer as the fight continues against the Six Rivers Lightning Complex. The Six Rivers Complex is made up of a half dozen fires that have grown together into two large clusters north and south of Highway 299, now totaling 23,155 acres with 19% containment. Control lines are holding well but every bit of progress is very difficult on the extremely steep, rugged terrain. One structure has been confirmed destroyed, and there have been two injuries. Current evacuation orders can be found at community.zonehaven.com. Federal lands on the Lower Trinity Ranger District remain closed.
