A burglary at Sequoia Middle School was solved by officers working to clear homeless people out of the Nur Pon Open Space off Henderson Road. The school break-in was reported on Tuesday, as computer equipment and other goods were taken from a classroom. A suspect was seen by the school resource officer in a review of video surveillance and a photo of her was distributed to all RPD Officers. On Wednesday morning 23-year-old Cauralynn Renee Bennett was recognized by officers clearing illegal campsites, and she was reportedly in possession of the stolen goods.
