Crews Continue To Extinguish Active Fire Within The Perimeter Of The Six Rivers Complex

The Six Rivers Fire Complex around Willow Creek is now 81% contained, though there was some slop-over late Sunday, bringing the complex to 27,000 acres. One structure was destroyed and there were 5 injuries. There are still some areas burning within the perimeter but attacking the fire directly is nearly impossible on some of the terrain involved. Crews have been working to keep burning materials from rolling or falling down the steep grades and through their lines.
