A fire involved multiple homes on Johnson Street in Red Bluff Sunday. After being delayed by a train, fire crews arrived a little before 5 O’clock to find 3 structures fully involved with at least 2 others directly threatened and multiple spot fires popping up throughout the neighborhood. As they were mopping up a couple of hour later, firefighters were called to a fire a few blocks away along the river’s edge threatened homes and other structures on Rio Street near Walnut Street. Forward progress was stopped at around 3 acres.
