Two DUI arrests were made by Redding Police at a checkpoint Friday night on North Market Street. With assistance by Anderson Police and Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies, 802 drivers were screened between 6:30PM and 11 O’clock. Three were cited for driving on a suspended license and four for being unlicensed. Five field sobriety tests resulted in one arrest for driving under the influence of drugs and one for driving under the influence of alcohol. Another driver was arrested on outstanding warrants.
