Declared containment of the Six Rivers Lightning Complex around Willow Creek has been reduced slightly to 80%. On Sunday one of six active fires in the complex, the Campbell Fire, jumped Cedar Creek and on Monday it burned about a thousand acres, along with some sizeable spot fires up to a mile away. The total size of the complex is 27,408 acres. One structure was destroyed and there have been 5 injuries. Crews have been working to keep burning materials from rolling or falling down the steep grades and through their lines. Helicopters making water drops have been a key in fighting the otherwise inaccessible fire.
