An inmate managed to escape from a high security fully enclosed exercise yard at Butte County Jail, and he remains at large. Jail staff is still trying to figure out how he did it. 34-year-old Miles Michael Kenneth Bondley’s absence was discovered at 6:20PM Wednesday night. Bondley was awaiting trial on charges including burglary, stalking, assault with a deadly weapon, attempted arson, dissuading a witness, domestic violence and violations of his post release supervision. He’s a white man, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds with green eyes and the name “Linda” tattooed on the right side of his neck. Photos are on the KQMS Facebook page.
