There were a few fires in the area Wednesday afternoon.

A fire on Inwood Road was reported at around 3:15PM with a threat to structures. Forward progress was stopped at a quarter acre within a half hour.
A vegetation fire just west of Red Bluff between Highway 36 and Eastridge Road was reported at around 1 O’clock. 30 minutes later forward progress was stopped at about 6 acres.
A fire a little after 3 O’clock on Redding Rancheria Road near Win Rver Casino burned a shed and a boat, and spread to about a quarter acre of trees and brush.
