An employee of a Redding care facility stole credit cards from an elderly couple who lived there and racked up Thousands of Dollars in charges, according to Redding Police. The couple’s daughter contacted police a couple of weeks ago and said the couples credit cards and cellphone were taken from their room and multiple fraudulent charges had been made in the past couple of months. The investigation led to 20-year-old Laura Bunker, who was seen on video surveillance making purchases with the cards. Charges exceeded $12,000 and included a down payment on a car. Bunker was arrested at her Elm Street home Friday evening, and reportedly confessed.
