Two men were arrested by the Redding Police bike team as they patrolled Caldwell Park on Friday. 53-year-old Michael Meier is a registered sex offender and was wearing an ankle monitor as he’s on pre-trial supervision for a pending criminal case. Officers say they found Methamphetamine on him and took him into custody. 58-year-old Timothy Evans is on parole for a murder conviction in Washington State. He had an arrest warrant, and officers say he also was in possession of Meth.
