Tattoo Parlor Owner Arrested For Alleged Sex Crimes With A Minor, Previously Arrested For Dealing Drugs

A Redding tattoo parlor owner accused of dealing drugs out of his Hilltop Drive shop is facing further charges involving sex crimes with a minor. 45-year-old Donald Stroud was arrested in February after Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit and SINTF Drug Agents served a search warrant at the Royal Syndicate tattoo parlor. The search of the business allegedly turned up Methamphetamine in various places, packaging material, paraphernalia and a large amount of Cannabis. Stroud was booked for maintaining a business for the purpose of distributing controlled substances and possession of drugs for sale. Police had seized his cell phone and reportedly found evidence that Stroud was having sexual relations with an underage girl. On Wednesday a search was done at Stroud’s home on Lamoine Drive. Stroud was sitting in his pickup with Michelle Martinez, who had been arrested in April with a half Pound of Fentanyl, a quarter Pound of Meth and an Ounce of Cocaine. Both Stroud and Martinez were detained as the house was searched. Inside a false compartment on a piece of furniture, a 9 millimeter handgun was reportedly found. Officers also say they found 2 Ounces of Meth and evidence of sales. Martinez was released and Stroud was booked into jail.
