A man accused of starting multiple arson fires in West Cottonwood has been arrested by Cal-Fire Law Enforcement. 33-year-old Darek Zeimet was taken into custody Saturday and booked into Tehama County Jail. Cal-Fire officials say Zeimet recklessly caused a fire in the wildland on August 28th, started a vehicle fire on August 29th and attempted to start an arson fire on Saturday. All of the fires were in the Bowman area.
