A lot of bridge work is about to begin by Cal-Trans and its contractors. Eleven bridges and overcrossings along Interstate Five in Tehama and Shasta Counties will be improved starting next week, with one-way traffic control in effect for most sites, and most work planned to take place overnight. Also on the list is the Highway 44 Bridge over Cow Creek. That’s expected to begin in the Spring, with 24 hour one-way traffic control and 11 minute delays. All of the projects should be done by next August.
