A fire in Orland Thursday night destroyed an old feed store. The fire was not at the Bucke’s Feed and Grain Store, but at a previous location on Yolo Street at 6th Street that’s now used for storage. It was a tremendous spectacle of flame and smoke that could be seen for miles and also burned about an acre of vegetation and multiple power lines. More than 1,100 PG&E customers lost power.
