The United Way wants to build a fire relief fund for the ongoing needs of Northern California fire survivors. As the United Way points out, this fire season has seen more than 400 structures destroyed, more than 200,000 acres burned and six people killed. United Way of Northern California, which covers nine northern counties, is partnering with Tri-Counties Bank to raise at least $3 Million by the end of December to provide direct aid to those who need it. Information can be seen and secure donations can be made at norcalunitedway.org/wildfirerecovery.
