The Shasta County Board of Supervisors will vote Tuesday on whether to eliminate the Veterans Service Office and absorb those duties into the County Administrative Office. The Veterans Service Officer would still exist with a small staff operating under the appointment and authority of the County Executive Officer. The vote would require a rewriting of the Shasta County Code.
