Shasta College is free! Well, it’s almost free. In 2018 the community college started offering free tuition for the first year for freshmen attending for the first-time and enrolled in a full schedule of 12 units. Now the offer has expanded. Any full time students enrolling in classes starting in November can get their first two full years tuition free. That means previous students who want to go back and complete a degree or certificate program can take advantage of the offer. There are a few caveats and stipulations.
