There was a fatal plane crash in Modoc County on Tuesday. At around 6PM an ultralight experimental aircraft crashed at Alturas Municipal Airport, killing the pilot. The Modoc County Sheriff’s Office says the Federal Aviation Administration and the NTSB have been notified and are conducting an investigation. The pilot’s name has not been made public.
