Shasta County Schools Superintendent Judy Flores has been appointed to a statewide advisory group that will provide guidance to the State Board of Education on areas of assessment and accountability. She is the only County Superintendent on the 15 member California Practitioners Advisory Group. The advisory group provides the State Board of Education with input on the design and implementation of California’s Accountability System, which impacts the states more 1,000 districts. Flores is one of three Superintendents who have been involved from the beginning of the statewide system of support.
