Missing Red Bluff Woman’s Vehicle Found Abandoned In Oregon

Authorities in Oregon say that a hunter found an abandoned vehicle that belonged to a Red Bluff woman who was reported missing in October. On October 29th the Linn County Sheriff Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle on a dead-end Forest Service road off of Highway 20, approximately 30 miles east of Sweet Home, Oregon. The gray Toyota Camry with California license plates was parked at the end of the road with no one around. Deputies found that the car belonged to 54-year-old Tammy Pitkin of Red Bluff who had been reported missing on October 26th. Tammy was last known to have been in Sutherlin, Oregon on October 17th, and her family has not had any contact with her since October 14th. The family says she has no known ties to that area. Authorities have been searching the area, but have been unable to find any sign of Tammy. Deputies learned Tammy most likely has her two small dogs with her, a white/black/brown Jack Russell Terrier and another smaller white dog. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
