Statewide Elections Results Show Right To An Abortion Passing, Sports Gambling Fails

Democratic Challenger Max Steiner looks to have lost his bid to unseat Republican Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Steiner currently shows 40% to LaMalfa’s 60%.

State Assembly District One incumbent Megan Dahle has a lead of 61% over challenger Belle Starr Sandwith with 39%.

Prop 1, which establishes a constitutional right to abortion, leads with 65% in favor.
Prop 26, allowing sports wagering, dice games and other expansions of gambling at existing tribal casinos, is failing with 70% opposed.
Prop 27, an attempt to open up online sports wagering is failing with 83% opposed.
Prop 28, an increase in funding for public school arts and music education, shows 62% approval.
Prop 29, which tightens regulations for kidney dialysis clinics, shows an opposition of 70%.
Prop 30, which imposes a special tax on multi-millionaires to pay for electric cars and charging stations, is opposed by 59%.
Prop 31, a ban on certain flavored tobacco products, is showing 62% approval.
