The Mount Shasta Area CHP is investigating a fatal crash that happened over the weekend. Just after 2 O’clock Sunday morning an unidentified 23-year-old man was driving a Ford Fiesta on Southbound Interstate Five south of Mott Road when the car drifted into the median and overturned several times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP suspects he was under the influence of alcohol.
