A man from Mt. Shasta has been arrested for starting what turned into a major fire in Siskiyou County. The Mountain Fire west of Gazelle was contained in late September after burning 13,440 acres and destroying two structures. 2 firefighters were injured while battling that blaze in rough terrain. On November 26th a Cal-Fire Officer arrested 31-year-old Gregg Alan Sayers. He was booked into jail on four felony counts of arson.
