Megan Rapinoe Inducted Into The California Hall Of Fame

For the 15th consecutive year, a new class of individuals was inducted into the California Hall of Fame including a Shasta County native. The California Hall of Fame’s 15th class was inducted Tuesday at the California Museum. Among the 15 people inducted by Governor Gavin Newsom and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom were soccer star Megan Rapinoe. Rapinoe is from Redding and went to Foothill High School in Palo Cedro. “It’s a huge honor to be here,” Rapinoe said. In total, 11 people were inducted including a diverse group from up and down the state that are meant to be the embodiments of the very best California has to offer.
