A 30-year-old man died when he was run over by a big rig at a rest area. Just after 2 O’clock Saturday afternoon, a Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Sukhraj Aulkh of Roseville was barely rolling at around 5 miles an hour in a rest area off Southbound Interstate Five near Corning. The passenger, Rohit Rekhi of Woodland, opened the door and got out while the truck was still moving. He fell to the ground and was crushed beneath the rear wheels.
