An art collection opening this weekend at Turtle Bay will celebrate honor and sacrifice, featuring works by U.S. Marines. It’s called Honor, Courage, Commitment: Marine Corps Art, 1975 – 2018 and includes 36 pieces by 15 Marine combat artists who were directed to draw and sketch what they witnessed and experienced while serving either in war or in peacetime. The traveling collection was selected from over 9,000 works at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Access to the show, which opens this Saturday, is included with park admission. Veterans get a $2 discount.
