More Federal Dollars will be flowing as the City of Redding Airports Division has reached a lease agreement with the U.S. Forest Service. Federal fire suppression operations are headquartered at the northern end of the runway that’s shared with Redding Regional Airport. $24 Million in infrastructure improvements are slated for the airport and the Redding Air Attack Base. The 315,000 square foot apron and connector taxilane improvements will be leased at fair market value.
